Surface View are bringing their inspirational world of bespoke interior graphics to Super Brands London and 100% Design this September. Several brand-new collections will debut across both exhibitions, including imagery from The British Library, P&0 Heritage, The Royal Opera House, Trunk Archive, a new Natural Textures photography collection from Nic Miller and a collection in conjunction with Texprint; a charity supporting young textile designers.
Here is a taster of the collection launches:
The British Library collection features rich and varied imagery including illustrations from Alice in Wonderland and War of the Worlds to Anatomical Drawings and Victorian theatre posters; it's a captivating collection of our nation's cultural heritage.
The new image collection from P&O Heritage is one for fans of classic graphic art as well as those who have a taste for nostalgia and the romantic age of cruise travel. A collection comprises of beautifully illustrated and lovingly retouched vintage travel posters from a time of luxury travel, by sea.
The Royal Opera House collection incorporates powerful imagery from the Royal Opera and the Royal Ballet. This new collection has captures the beauty and grace of these two world-famous institutions.
On the more contemporary side, there is a new photographic collection, developed in collaboration with Truck Archive. Featuring in the collection are works from Jake Chessum, Joseph Szabo and many others.
Nic Miller's photography collection is one of the most popular collections at Surface View and this brand new addition certainly promises to continue in the same vein. Nic has developed a new range of Natural Textures taken at abstract scale. These high-resolution photographs are sure to make stunning, statement wall murals.
The new Texprint collection is the result of Surface View's active support new design talent and encouraging design innovation and excellence. This vibrant and dynamic collection encompasses works from selected Trained in Britain textile design graduates.
Texprint selects, mentors and promotes the UK's most talented textile design graduates with the support of industry professionals worldwide, providing a vital bridge between higher education and the commercial world and an exceptional international platform for the designers work.
Surface View are masters of innovative print with their blending of traditional craft with pioneering digital innovation. They're continually exploring new developments, whether that's printing directly onto wood, producing large-scale murals or fusing imagery into window blinds; anything to extend their world of possibilities. Such examples will be exhibited at Super Brands London and 100% Design illustrating the various and endless print options available.
Every Surface View story begins with a picture. The fascinating and beautiful imagery, that form the extensive collections come about from eclectic sources. Retrieved from dusty attics, discovered in vaulted basements or among the pages of vintage manuscripts, the imagery is then digitally remastered, retaining its unique character yet achieving the finest image quality. The images are then printed onto a range of online products to the customers specifications and at a size to perfectly suit any space.
