Elements Architecture are a boutique architecture firm based in Barbados, with over 30 years experience working on projects across the Caribbean and America. 

When Elements Architecture were approached to design this private villa in Saint James, the brief was to maximise the stunning surrounding views and make the most of the coastal location to provide an escape from busy London life. The homeowner wanted to be well connected to the large outdoor space and have plenty of room for relaxing and entertaining. 

The highly glazed design uses architectural glazing to flood the interior with natural light and create an indoor outdoor style of living, complete with multiple sets of sliding glass doors that grant access to private balcony areas on the first floor and direct garden access on the ground. 

IQ Glass International provided the glazing package for the villa, including the glass entrance design that is complete with floor to ceiling glass walls either side of the porcelain finished, pivoting front door. The white colour palette extends to the roof, where a roof overhang has been designed to offer built in solar shading.
