Zuster is pleased to launch the new Traverse furniture collection, designed by Wilhelmina McCarroll.   Wilhelmina draws on her love of horses and dressage riding as inspiration behind these elegant pieces. The word Traverse is an equestrian term for a movement performed in dressage in which the horse moves parallel to the side of the arena. With its shoulders carried closer to the wall than its hindquarters, and its body curved toward the centre, a fluid crossover pattern is made by the horse's legs. This pattern is featured consistently throughout the Traverse collection, in a number of applications, from leg design to routered drawer fronts to solid American Oak set into table tops.

"I live on a 40 acre property in the Yarra Valley and I find my design inspiration flows so much greater when I'm on the property amongst the natural beauty and with my family and horses. The inspiration for this collection came to me one early evening on dusk as I was working one of my horses."  Design Director, Wilhelmina McCarroll. 

The collection is designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Zuster in American Oak and consists of two dining tables, a desk, a coffee table, a console with quilted drawer fronts, a storage cabinet and bedside table. Each piece is unique having its own 'Traverse' interpretation.

All items are made to order in a select range of Zuster stain finishes on America Oak with various size options available. Delivery lead times are 6 - 8 weeks from order confirmation.
