A Chiswick couple have used artificial grass from LazyLawn to transform their terrace roof into an urban oasis in order to boost the value of their flat and sell it quicker.
Simon Baker, an architect from Kensington, and his wife Helen, decided to give their asphalt terrace a makeover using 600 square metres of LazyLawn's quality product.
“We thought from the start that we could improve the terrace,” says Simon, “as it's a nice, big outdoor space but you can't really relax on asphalt. We wanted to turn a grey space into a green space, and it looks so much better now.”
The couple, who are expecting a baby and want to sell their second floor flat to buy a bigger home, had the work done in the spring and have enjoyed the results over the hot summer.
“The lawn itself is nice and comfortable, just like an outdoor carpet,” enthuses Helen, “we've had friends over for garden parties since it was installed and they've been very impressed with it too.”
“It's certainly been a big selling point,” concludes Simon, “as a property with a garden in this area is hard to come by, so it's added value, and we like the feel of the LazyLawn grass so much we'd probably use it again.”
