Kingstown Furniture, the UK's leading manufacturer of ready assembled bedroom and lounge furniture, recently exhibited at the Silentnight Trade Show in Salterforth, Lancashire. The exhibition took place from the 5th – 8th October and despite the current economic downturn, attendance at the show was larger than last year and Kingstown enjoyed record success with the launch of its bedroom winter sale line Vanquish.

The show offered Kingstown the opportunity to display its latest and best selling ranges, and to also meet with potential UK customers. A prize draw to win a digital flat screen TV attracted visitors to the Kingstown stand and brought in several new sales leads for the company.

“We really enjoyed exhibiting at the Silentnight show this autumn”, said Geoff Brailsford, Group Sales Director for Kingstown Furniture. “Despite the credit crunch there was a real 'bullish' atmosphere and we had more visitors to our stand than ever. Promoting our sale line Vanquish produced record sales figures and our prize draw, won by Iain Race of Home Interiors in Stockton, generated lots of interest.” Geoff continues: “The Silentnight Group holds two shows each year and traditionally the autumn show is very much geared around retailers securing deals for the winter sales in January and February. We are delighted at the turn out this year and are looking forward optimistically to our next trade show at the NEC in January.”
