Portmeirion Group Shortlisted For House Beautiful Awards

British tableware manufacturer, Portmeirion Group, has announced that its Sophie Conran for Portmeirion range and Spode's Delamere Rural collection have been shortlisted in the prestigious House Beautiful Awards 2014.

The two elegant and timeless collections have made the shortlist in the 'Best Tableware or Cookware' category. Portmeirion Group being the only brand to feature two product ranges in this group.

Now in its 11th year, the annual House Beautiful Awards are firmly established as the home industry's showcase for excellence and a key event in the industry's calendar.

Stoke-on-Trent based Portmeirion Group launched the new range of award winning Sophie Conran for Portmeirion cookware earlier this spring. Perfect for modern day living the new cookware collection compliments the Sophie Conran for Portmeirion tableware and giftware collection and utilises the latest technology of non-stick coatings, bodies that are designed for optimum heat distribution and elegant handles that are integrated into the body to create a high quality, unique and very functional range.

Iconic British tableware brand, Spode launched its Delamere Rural product range earlier this year. The timeless collection features tableware, serving pieces and an afternoon tea collection which is evocative of the Great British countryside with key pieces featuring woodland animals including a pheasant, deer, rabbit and duck.

The House Beautiful Awards ceremony will take place in London on 13th November where the winners of each category will be revealed.
