British design specialist, Gtech, launches its first Leaf Blower, the most powerful in the cordless market, complementing its existing stable of cordless, high performance, garden powered tools.

We incorporated an axial rotor and stator, a bit like a jet engine, with a large nozzle to combine high air speed and high air flow. The speed is important to dislodge leaves and debris but then you need high flow rates to move it over distance.

“We were meticulous with the handle and trigger design, because when you blow out nearly 40 cubic meters of air each second there is a back-pressure.  We've balanced the weight and nozzle angle to reduce strain on the user's wrist and back.”

Gtech continues to develop its range of garden products to have interchangeable batteries, and the leaf blower works with the same battery as its cordless lawn mower.
