2013 dates and highlights announced
Following the success of this year's exhibition, which attracted more than 6000 visits, the AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR (AIFF) and co-located DECORATION + DESIGN will return to the Sydney Exhibition Centre from 6-8 February 2013.
Unveiling the latest furniture designs for commercial, residential and retail industries, AIFF will offer visitors an opportunity to view the latest developments in their industry. In addition, DECORATION + DESIGN, Australia's premier interiors event will showcase the newest furniture and furnishings available from industry leaders and exciting new designers worldwide, specialising in fabrics, soft furnishings, lighting, outdoor furnishings, objects D'art, artwork and more.
THE EDGE design and innovation competition, open to emerging designers and design students, will return in 2013. Acclaimed for revealing the latest talent in Australian furnishing design, THE EDGE offers awards in Student, Concept, Commercial and Green categories. Applications for entries are now open and close on Friday 26 October 2012 at 5:00pm AEST.
THE INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY SEMINAR SERIES, known for playing host to acclaimed authorities in design will also be back. Renowned interior designers Abigail Ahern (UK) and Greg Natale (AUS) will headline the series with what is sure to be another exceptional line up of inspirational experts. The complete seminar series line-up will be announced shortly.
The popular HOTEL + HOSPITALITY FURNISHINGS feature will also appear again, offering an array of designs and innovations in the hotel, motel, club and restaurant sector.
The 2013 AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR will attract thousands of industry representatives including furniture and furnishings retailers, architects, interior decorators, designers and stylists.
