Noti, the Polish design brand rooted in family heritage and committed to responsible design, makes 
its London debut at this year's Material Matters fair. As part of the UK/Poland Creative Season 2025, 
Noti presents a curated selection of pieces - Vivido, Cactus, and Ekori - each displayed as 'micro
stories' that reflect the brand's ethos of craftsmanship and sustainable innovation. The 
presentation is further enriched by a dedicated panel talk, exploring the journey of materiality and 
the cultural dialogue behind Polish design. 

London 3 September 2025 - Making its first dedicated UK exhibition appearance, Noti's showcase 
focuses on its core values of manufacture, craftsmanship, and partnership. Three distinct stories - 
Vivido, Cactus, and Ekori - illustrate three different technologies working with three unique materials, 
collectively highlighting the rich narrative of Polish design and creativity. At Noti, design is a conscious 
offering of function expressing of lifestyle shaped by carefully selected products and thoughtful 
manufacturing. Each piece reflects the human touch, with craftsmanship at its core, brought to life by a 
skilled team whose collective experience from seamstresses to designer, ensures timeless, meaningful 
design. A family business, Noti creates mindful objects that express identity across both living and 
working environments, supported by diverse technologies throughout each design journey.

Part of the UK/Poland Season 2025, the exhibition is led by On&On Designs in collaboration with the 
Polish Cultural Institute in London. The season aims to invigorate the UK-Poland cultural dialogue and 
showcasing the innovation and talent of the Polish culture and design scene. 

Panel Discussion 'The Rise of Polish Design' – Friday 19 September 1200 pm  
Accompanying the installation will be a dedicated panel discussion exploring how cultural exchange is 
shaping the future of Polish design. Chaired by Grant Gibson, co-founder of Material Matters, the panel 
features artist Alicja Patanowska, Alicja Prussakowska co-founder of Formsophy, Aleksandra 
Szymanska, director of the Creative Industries Institute and Timothy Shepherd, founder and MD at 
Shepherd&. 

Designed by Marta Szostek and Matylda Halkowicz from Supergirls Do Design, the Vivido collection 
presents a series of uniquely shaped, handmade decorations that perfectly embody Noti's artistic 
philosophy. Each of the Vivido Totems is a testament to skilled carpentry and the use of natural, high
quality materials, with every piece possessing its own distinct character while remaining true to the Noti 
brand. The designers have thoughtfully curated a wide variety of colours, ranging from calming tones to 
vibrant, animated hues. By playing with round shapes and fluent combinations of forms and colours, 
Szostek and Halkowicz have crafted a compelling visual dialogue within the Vivido collection, infusing 
these pieces with energy.  

The Cactus collection, courtesy of Piotr Kuchciński, embodies Noti's philosophy where technology 
meets solutions inspired by nature. This versatile product family draw its distinctive look from the African 
milk tree (Euphorbia Trigona), featuring a sculpted moulded aluminium base. The collection's three
armed aluminium stands serve dual purposes as bases for tables and supports for shelf racks. The 
repetition of aluminium throughout the product, all turned at differing angles, creates a dynamic 
composition that enlivens any space. Noti's commitment to sustainability is evident in the Cactus 
collection, with fully recyclable aluminium alloy promoting responsible resource management. Taking 
sustainability a step further, Cactus is also available with Boomplastic tops – an innovative material 
made entirely from recycled plastics, ensuring full recyclability.

The Ekori chair, also designed by Piotr Kuchciński, stands as Noti's greenest chair, meticulously crafted 
to reuse as much material as possible while combining contemporary design with a strong commitment 
to environmental care. Its signature bucket-seat shape is aesthetically pleasing and exceptionally 
durable, featuring a 100% recycled polypropylene backrest which boasts high strength, durability, and 
resistance to load, impact, and deformation. Ekori is quickly and easily disassembled into separate 
material groups for efficient recycling. With six different bases and a wide array of fabrics, hundreds of 
unique configurations are possible - an ideal solution for diverse home and office spaces. Within the 
design of Ekori, Noti's textile capabilities can be truly appreciated, with specialist seamstresses and 
textile designers, combining functionality with elegant simplicity to create comfort, durability and unique 
aesthetic appeal.  

Noti's London debut marks a milestone for the brand, previously available in the UK only through dealers. 
This exhibition offers a rare insight into its creative process, showcasing the technologies, challenges, 
and human stories behind each piece. As a family-run manufacturer, Noti is committed to crafting 
mindful objects that reflect a universal design philosophy.
