Lambretta Li 150 replica build Jimmy Scooter From Quadrophenia. The Story Behind Jimmy

This iconic scooter was methodically restored by Patrick Joynt and built to a very high standard as you would only be expected from such a perfectionist.

The Jimmy Scooter took over 10 years to build due to Patrick's meticulous determination to source all the parts using only original Italian body accessories bought from Rimini Scooter Center. This legendary scooter is absolutely pristine and been used on two occasions - the miles on the clock show 43 miles since restoration.

Patrick has been involved with scooters for over 40 years and has recently engineered the first battery-operated Lambretta in 2020.

Having visited Patrick back in 2017 in his home Saigon, I was lucky enough to see Jimmy in the flesh in his Saigon Scooter Centre showroom. I did ask at the time if he would sell to me, but the answer was a flat NO!

After pestering Pat for a good few years, he finally gave in and sold Jimmy to me in April 2020. The Jimmy Scooter was sailed over in a wooden crate and now resides in the Smithers of Stamford Office.

Jimmy comes with a Dating Certificate, not to mention an abundance of style.
