The Camden Watch Company (www.CamdenWatchCompany.com), an independent British brand based in the heart of Camden founded by wife and husband team Anneke Short and Jerome Robert, has taken their design knowledge and expanded their offering to the tradition of drinking tea with the launch of their animal inspired mugs.
Nothing quite encapsulates the British character as the fine drink that is tea. Drunk by workers & aristocrats alike, tea has been enjoyed in Britain since the 17th Century.
The Animal 350ML stoneware mugs are inspired by the shape of industrial mugs used by workers in the early 1900s, by which time the tea break had become a solid fixture of the working day.
The Animal designs are a nod to the Victorian fascination with taxidermy and anthropomorphism, with an extra tip of the hat to the quirky British sense of humour.
The seven designs are for tea (and coffee) and animal fans alike.
Each priced at £12 each, the stoneware (ceramic) mugs have unique names and feature The Camden Watch Company logo and character name stamped on the bottom. Available from www.CamdenWatchCompany.com
