Steljes Audio Launches
Steljes Audio, a new division of UK-based Steljes Ltd, launches its debut line of smart audio products
Surrey, United Kingdom – Steljes Audio launches, offering stunning audio products equipped with the necessary features, looks, and performance to satisfy today's discerning consumer.
A division of Steljes Ltd, the AV technology company set up in 1987 by British entrepreneur Nigel Steljes, Steljes Audio fuses the dynamism and passion of a start-up with the experience and backing of global player. The result is an agile and dependable outfit, able to swiftly launch products and offer on-going support to its customers.
Having identified a sure consumer appetite for the 'right brand with the right products' Steljes Ltd took the 'if you build it, he will come' Field of Dreams approach, and Steljes Audio was born.
The new division comes of age with its 2016 collection, comprising products designed and manufactured by a hugely experienced team, armed with first-hand knowledge of what matters most to the end-user. From build, to looks, to features and performance, all Steljes Audio models hit the sweet spots, and, crucially, prices stay affordable.
Nine models make up Steljes Audio's first offering: a trio of powered stereo speaker systems; a pair of soundbars; a brace of digital radios; a streaming adapter; and a stereo amplifier*. (*Note, this is no 'ordinary' amplifier, but a wonderful juxtaposition of old and new audio technology.)
The NS1, NS3, and NS6 powered stereo speaker systems aim to serve a growing phenomenon – the smartphone-based home hi-fi system. Equipped with built-in amplification and Bluetooth technology these talented speakers, when paired with a compatible music device, are all you need to release digital tracks from the sealed world of earphones. The NS1 and NS3 desktop models are available in eight smart finishes, with the NS6 floortstander offered in bamboo as standard and additional colours available to order. This is a speaker range designed to integrate not only with today's music devices, but also with a home's décor.
Two further product categories covered are digital radios and soundbars. The Steljes Audio SA20 and SA60 radios come in sleekly curved cabinets and both offer DAB, DAB+, and FM, as well as Bluetooth and aux-in connectivity. The SA60 adds Wi-Fi streaming and Spotify Connect to the feature list, further boosting its appeal. It also proudly delivers UNDOK, the affordable App-based multi-room feature backed by Frontier Silicon and Steljes Audio. Designed for convenience and flexibility, the radios include clock and alarm functions alongside a built-in rechargeable battery, which is good for up to ten hours Mains-free replay.
For those looking to extend streaming and UNDOK convenience throughout the home, the Steljes Audio MS2 music streamer is the simplest of solutions. Amazingly compact, plug the MS2 into any existing compatible audio device and you have access to over 20,000 internet radio stations, Spotify Connect and the ability to independently control rooms via the UNDOK App – think 'multi-room minus multi-cost'.
The Calliope and Erato soundbars both instantly deal with the issue of poor sound from slim-screen TVs, adding smart looks and Bluetooth streaming to the mix. Here, in recognition of the popularity of the use of soundbars with mobile devices, the design team offers models which sound as good with music as they do with film and TV. These are well-equipped units, too, both boasting HDMI ARC-compatibility, and with the Erato's wireless subwoofer adding even more bass for your buck.
Last to take to the Steljes Audio stage is the ML30 stereo amplifier. And, what a curtain call it is. Combining valve technology with Bluetooth streaming, the ML30 updates a glorious sounding audio technology with the convenience of the world's most popular method of music streaming. This is a truly lovely product and one which does justice to the term 'hi-fi'. Through meticulous design and refinement, the ML-30HD has obtained Japan Audio Society's Hi-Res certification.
Steljes Audio is now open for business. First products go on sale in February and the entire line will be available by April. RRPs to follow.
